Hepi Lodge Stellplatz mit Weitblick

My experience is mixed: The infrastructure is impressive and exemplary—every pitch has water and electricity hookups (camping plug and standard plug), a lovely farm shop, a wide selection of drinks, a common room; the overall concept is really great, the location is top-notch, and the options for excursions on foot or by bike are fantastic. What really bothers me: the description mentions 6 pitches, 8 can be booked, and on-site there are 12 pitches in the same row, with the furthest pitches at the back being very cramped. You can hardly set up anything on the side there, and using an awning is impossible because other vehicles wouldn't be able to pass. It feels like they just want to make money and pack in as many vehicles as possible; everything is a bit cramped, and the toilet and shower facilities are simply not made for so many people. It also bothers me that all pitches pay the same price, whether you're the first in line (with plenty of space) or the last one (very cramped). The host doesn't care at all about who arrives or with what vehicle, etc. – the main priority is just offering 12 spots side by side.

Beautiful view, great mountain panorama. Some pitches are very narrow, which can be difficult with a roof tent; try to arrive as early as possible. Sanitary facilities were mostly clean, but unfortunately there are only a few. We felt comfortable.

Very friendly and helpful hosts, very beautiful site with a panoramic view. However: it's first come, first served. Since the pitches are located along a path that narrows, it's a bit unfortunate when you have to drive through to the smaller spots at the back with a campervan (if still possible), while the front spots are occupied by VW buses or cars with roof tents. Some organization regarding the allocation of pitches would be desirable here.
