Our hidden meadow is located approximately 5 km (10-minute drive) from Naumburg city center, in the district of Weinberge. The name truly says it all here! You'll be just 50 meters from the Saale Cycle Path, allowing you to directly enjoy the Saale-Unstrut wine region. Head 3 km towards Rossbach or 3 km towards Bad Kösen, and you'll discover numerous wineries and traditional wine taverns (Straußwirtschaften). Everything is wonderfully accessible by foot or by bike.
Directly opposite the parking spot, across the street, you'll find the Winzerbar, the Straußwirtschaft of Manuel Flechtner, our winemaker friend. You can purchase wine directly from him here, or during opening months, sit among the vineyards and enjoy a drink and a small snack.
Naumburg beckons with attractions such as the Naumburg Cathedral and its famous Uta statue. The Cathedral is a UNESCO World Heritage site and absolutely worth a visit. Bad Kösen, with its beautiful parks and the graduation tower, is equally impressive. The region offers so much – feel free to ask us, we're happy to help you further.
The meadow offers ample space and privacy. Further up, the meadow becomes slightly sloped, so you might need to use leveling ramps. This is our first season, so there is no electricity or water yet, or other amenities. However, we are working on being able to offer these in 2025. In urgent cases, we are sure to find a solution.
Winter description
Our 'hidden meadow' is located about 5 km (a 10-minute drive) from Naumburg city center in the Weinberge district. The name says it all! You are just 50 meters from the Saale Cycle Path, perfectly placed to enjoy the Saale-Unstrut wine region. Whether you head 3 km towards Rossbach or 3 km towards Bad Kösen, you'll find numerous wineries and traditional wine taverns—all easily accessible on foot or by bike.
Directly opposite the pitch, just across the street, you'll find the 'Winzerbar,' a seasonal wine tavern run by our friend and winemaker, Manuel Flechtner. You can purchase his wines directly from us or, during opening months, sit right by the vineyard to enjoy a drink and a light snack.
Naumburg’s highlights include the UNESCO World Heritage Naumburg Cathedral and its famous statue of Uta—both are absolute must-sees. Bad Kösen is equally charming with its beautiful parks and historic graduation tower. The region has so much to offer; feel free to ask us for tips!
The meadow offers plenty of space and privacy. Please note that the upper part of the meadow is slightly sloped, so you may need leveling ramps. As this is our first season, we do not yet offer electricity, water, or other amenities. We are working hard to have these available for 2025, but in urgent cases, we can certainly find a solution.

Self check-inYou arrive on your own, without a welcome
You can cancel up to 24 hours before the latest check-in time on the arrival day. The refund includes the booking amount minus 1.5x the displayed Nomady fee. The cutoff is the latest check-in time of this spot — not midnight. Cancellations apply to the entire booking including extra products. Partial cancellations are not possible. Cancellations are only accepted via the designated cancellation tool. Verbal or written agreements cannot be taken into account. You can find out how to cancel in our FAQs.

It goes without saying that you are responsible for cleaning up after your furry friend. We also kindly ask for your normal, considerate cooperation, especially regarding waste disposal, noise levels, and campfires.

We felt very comfortable at Hans's place 'auf der Wiese' and had a wonderful time. The Saale Cycle Route is close by and the surrounding area is great to explore by bike; don't forget the excellent wine, which is a must-try. Communication with Hans was straightforward and quick. We would love to come back.
Simple spot for self-sufficient campers. We liked it a lot and spent a quiet night there.
Everything was great. Easy to find.
The pitch is ideally located for exploring the surrounding vineyards :-)
