I agree with the previous reviewer that for this price, things could be set up with a bit more love. The area and the spot are a dream, but 35 euros just to park your car there... At least a compost toilet, or even just a mown strip of grass where you inevitably have to walk to go pee in the woods. I understand that the farmers work hard and have little time to enjoy their own paradise, but I don't think it's fair this way either. As a single mother working in social services (meaning poor), for my Airbnb—where rent prices were "adjusted" by Porsche and Mercedes—I charged just barely over half of Sabine's price, including electricity, internet, heating, coffee, toilet paper, hot water, washing machine, bed linens, towels, and cleaning service. Just for comparison... Even though it was nice to find anything affordable in the area at all and the spot is very beautiful, in my opinion, the price or the offering should be adjusted. Also, firewood was listed as included, but there was no fire pit or firewood to be seen.

Sabine is very nice and easy-going. Complete peace and quiet at night, we were totally alone. Simple spot with electricity and water supply. Would happily return. Regards, Rainer and Sabine

We are located slightly higher up here, behind a building that is half residential, half agricultural. The small path leading to the meadow is gravel and quite steep. We were therefore worried about whether we would be able to drive the motorhome back up in the rain. Fortunately, there is a pile of gravel there that you could shovel under the tires in an emergency! On site, there is an electricity connection for small appliances, as described in the listing, as well as a water tap. If you are self-sufficient, the pitch is completely fine. However, if you just want to fetch some water with a bucket, the area seems rather uninviting: various metal objects are lying around under the tap, and there is also an old jar with a used paintbrush. That is a pity, because for the price charged, the owners could make this small area cleaner and more pleasant with very little effort. The meadow is very large and sloping, with plenty of space and the forest right nearby. I think if you walk a little further, you can even see Lake Mondsee. On the other hand, it is really very quiet here. We were completely alone and only had a visit from the cat – and in the morning, the rooster reliably provides the wake-up call! 🐈🐓 For one night, the place is perfectly adequate, especially if you are looking for peace and quiet and are traveling self-sufficiently. For several nights, however, in my opinion, it lacks a bit of comfort and better-maintained facilities.

We were allowed to set up camp on a large meadow around the farm with a free choice of spots; I was there with my two children for a week of fishing. Due to the hot weather, we chose a spot at the edge of the forest, which is in the shade from midday onwards. Depending on where you want to go on the meadow, an off-road vehicle is useful (especially if it pours down in buckets the night before departure, as it did for us yesterday 😉). If necessary, however, a tractor with a winch is apparently available. Large parts of the meadow are also more easily accessible. There is a 230 V socket and an outdoor tap at the barn, just as described! Unfortunately, we couldn't say goodbye to you in person on our departure day, Sabine, so thank you once again and warm regards this way!!
