We felt right at home with Marianna and Fredi! The whole meadow to ourselves with llamas, goats, little pigs, and cats. The food was fantastic! The people were super warm and welcoming!

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt bei Marianna und Fredi! Die ganze Wiese für uns mit Lamas, Ziegen, Schweinchen und Katzen. Das Essen war phantastisch! Die Menschen superherzlich!

The friendly and helpful hosts were a big plus. I liked the proximity to the main road a bit less, and the associated traffic noise. That's why I'm only giving 4 stars.

Die freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Gastgeber war ein grosser Pluspunkt. Etwas weniger hat mir die Nähe zur Hauptstrasse gefallen, und der damit verbundene Strassenlärm.  deshalb nur 4 Sterne

Marianna and her son are truly kind and helpful people. Being used to sleeping in total silence, the nearby main road and the sound of a motor from a stable made it a bit difficult for me to fall asleep... but the cool evening breeze made up for it!

The hosts were extremely friendly and helped us out with hiking tips. The location is good; although you can see the road, you don't hear it at night. The toilets and showers are clean. We can highly recommend the restaurant with its regional cuisine.

Die Gastgeber waren überaus freundlich und haben uns mit Wandertipps unterstützt. Die Lage ist gut, man sieht zwar die Straße, hört diese nachts nicht. Die Toiletten/ Duschen sind sauber. Das Restaurant mit regionaler Küche können wir empfehlen.

We received a very warm welcome from the Clalüna family. The toilet and shower were spotlessly clean. The small village is beautiful and serves as a great starting point for all kinds of excursions in the area. We would love to come back!

Wir wurden von der Familie Clalüna sehr lieb empfangen. Die Toilette und Dusche waren makellos sauber. Das kleine Dorf ist wunderschön und eignet sich gut als Ausgangspunkt für jegliche Ausflüge in der Umgebung. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

The price and services offered didn't match. The pitch is quite uneven and the price was too expensive for me (-20% would be appropriate for the services provided).

Preis und Leitung haben nicht gestimmt. Platz ist ziemlich schief und der Preis war für mich zu teuer (-20%) wäre für die Leistungen die geboten werden angemessen.

Our stay with Marianna was great. The place is quiet, toilets and shower very clean, and we were allowed to wash up in the kitchen. The goats, alpaca, and pot-bellied pigs are a nice bonus.

Sunny spot, above a through road, but it was hardly noticeable. We liked it.

Sonniger Platz, oberhalb Durchgangsstrasse, was aber kaum auffiel. Gefiel uns.

Marianna welcomed us very warmly despite our late arrival. Beautifully located, quiet pitch, perfect sanitary facilities with toilet, shower, and sink in the immediate vicinity. To help with the really cold nights, Marianna provided us with warm blankets. Upon request, Marianna also cooked us a sumptuous dinner, which we enjoyed in her cozy restaurant "Ustaria la Stalla". The morning conversations with her guests at the round table were very enriching. We thank Marianna and Fredi from the bottom of our hearts for their lovely hospitality. We will definitely come back! Auf Wunsch kocht uns Marianna auch ein feudales Nachtessen, das wir in ihrer heimeligen Gaststätte „Ustaria la Stalla“ geniessen durften. Die morgendlichen Gespräche mit ihren Gästen am runden Tisch waren sehr bereichernd. Marianna und Fredi danken wir für ihre liebenswürdige Gastfreundschaft von ganzem Herzen. Wir kommen wieder! Nice pitch. Quietly located despite the proximity to the road and railway. Unfortunately, a lot of flies due to the livestock farming. The restaurant was unfortunately closed. Toilet and shower (only one) available.

Schöner Stellplatz. Trotz Straßen und Bahnnähe ruhig gelegen. Durch die Viehwirtschaft leider viele Fliegen. Restaurantbetrieb war leider geschlossen. WC, Dusche (nur eine) vorhanden.

A great, simple, and authentic pitch with very friendly hosts. You can also enjoy delicious food from Marianna if you book in advance. There is a very clean bathroom with a shower. You can go on great hikes and mountain bike tours in the area, and the village (a 5-minute walk away) is definitely worth a visit.

Ein toller einfacher, authentischer Stellplatz mit sehr netten Gastgebern. Auf Vorbestellung kann man bei Marianna auch lecker essen. Es gibt ein sehr sauberes Bad mit Dusche. In der Gegend kann man tolle Wanderungen und Mountainbiketouren unternehmen und das Dorf (5 Gehminuten entfernt) ist auf jeden Fall eine Besichtigung wert.

Marianna and Fredi are perfect hosts! The animals are super cute. Facilities are very good. Only the nearby cantonal road is a bit bothersome in the early morning hours.

We received a very warm welcome from Marianna and Fredy, and chatting with the locals who stopped by for coffee was incredibly interesting. We even met the world champion in carriage driving (with horses). Another local character, “Nuot sa tuot” (the one who knows everything😜), explained the situation with the wolves and the bear currently looking for a mate. We slept soundly on the freshly mown pitch right next to the alpacas and goats. The Lower Engadine with its mountains and valleys, the River Inn, and the charming villages with their deeply rooted and friendly people truly impressed us. We will definitely be back❤️!

Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Marianna und Fredy empfangen und der Kontakt mit den Einheimischen, welche zum Kaffee vorbeikamen, war unglaublich interessant. Sogar den Weltmeister im Fahren (mit Pferden) lernten wir kennen. Und ein anderes Dorforiginal „Nuot sa tuot“ (der alles weiss😜) erklärte uns die Situation mit den Wölfen und dem Bären, der gerade ein Bärenweibchen sucht. Auf dem frisch gemähten Stellplatz gleich neben den Alpacas und den Ziegen haben wir fest und tief geschlafen. Das Unterengadin mit seinen Bergen und Tälern, dem Inn, den hübschen Dörfern mit seinen verwurzelten und freundlichen Menschen, das alles hat uns ziemlich beeindruckt. Wir kommen wieder❤️!

Very nice pitch, right by the road, but not bothersome. The host Marianna is very nice and helpful with everything. Being woken up in the morning by the goats is also something special. We really liked it.

Sehr schöner Stellplatz, zwar direkt an der Straße aber nicht störend. Die Betreiberin Marianna ist sehr nett und in allem hilfsbereit. Morgens von den Ziegen geweckt zu werden ist auch Mal was besonderes . Uns hat's gefallen.

Der zweite Besuch bei Marianna und es war wieder wunderschön. Der Platz liegt idyllisch am Restaurant, so lässt es sich wenn offen ist auch gut ein Kaffee genießen. Vom Camp aus hat man ein wunderschönes Bergpanorama und sieht die Spitze des Schwarzhorns welche am Morgen ins Sonnenlicht getaucht wird. Danke für deinen herzlichen Empfang & bis nächstes Mal.

Super friendly hosts! Spot on a quiet plateau above the motorway. WC and shower very clean. Restaurant open during the weekdays and at night on request. Farm animals on site (pigmy goats, alpaca, chickens, pigs). 5 minute walk into Ardez if you need anything.

The camping pitch meadow is located on the edge of the wonderful Engadine village of Ardez, with a lovely view up the valley. The main road is close, but sits lower down and therefore does not disturb. The site is well-equipped, the toilet/shower are sparkling clean, and meals are available at the Ustaria by prior arrangement. Marianna is a lovely and easy-going host who takes great care of her guests. We felt very comfortable. Thank you very much!

Die Stellplatzwiese liegt am Rand des wunderschönen Engadiner Dorfes Ardez, mit schönem Blick talaufwärts. Die Durchgangsstrasse ist zwar nahe, liegt aber tiefer und stört deshalb nicht. Der Platz ist gut ausgestattet,  WC/Dusche sind blitzsauber, nach Absprache kann man in der Ustaria essen. Marianna ist eine liebenswürdige und unkomplizierte Gastgeberin, die sich um ihre Gäste kümmert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Besten Dank!

Super friendly host in the dreamy little village of Ardez. A visit is worth it just for the alpacas, goats, pigs, and the cute farm cat. The only shame is having a direct view of the street. But otherwise, it doesn't really bother you.

Super freundliche Gastgeberin im verträumten Dörfchen Ardez. Ein Besuch lohnt sich nur schon wegen den Alpakas, Ziegen, Schweinen und der süssen Hofkatze. Schade ist nur, dass man direkten Blick auf die Strasse hat. Stört aber sonst nicht weiter.

Having goats and alpacas with their young as camp neighbors was also a unique experience.

The location was also great. You can reach the beautiful center, which is well worth seeing, in just a few minutes on foot. In Ardez, there are wonderful Engadine houses. A hike to Guarda is also highly recommended. We will be back.

Einmalig auch das Erlebnis Ziegen und Alpacas mit den Jungtieren als Camp-Nachbarn zu haben. 

Die Location war ebenfalls toll. Zu Fuss kommt man in wenigen Minuten ins schöne und sehenswerte Zentrum. In Ardez gibt es wunderschöne Engadinerhäuser. Es bietet sich auch eine Wanderung nach Guarda an. Wir kommen wieder.

Super friendly hosts. The site is great and you have the opportunity to eat at the on-site restaurant. We can only highly recommend the food; it tasted wonderful. The sanitary facilities are top-notch. It is definitely worth spending one or more nights at this site in the Lower Engadine. Thank you for everything!

Super nette Gastgeberin/Gastgeber. Der Platz ist toll und man hat die Möglichkeit im hauseigenen Restaurant zu essen. Das Essen können wir nur weiterempfehlen. Es hat super geschmeckt. Die Sanitären Anlagen sind top. Es lohnt sich eine oder mehrere Nächte im Unterengadin auf diesem Platz zu verbringen. Wir danken für alles!

The majestic mountains and breathtaking views of forests and sky create the perfect backdrop for your adventurous getaway. Your camp is ideally situated next to the main building, offering magnificent vistas of the picturesque village of Ardez. Modern sanitary facilities are conveniently located in the stable building.
