What is that?
Park Overnight (PON) offers simple, legal overnight spots in parking areas—ideal for spontaneous and safe travel. The spots are meant for one or more nights and are perfect when you need a quiet, official place to park, sleep and continue your journey.
Conveniently located parking area near the Burkheimer Baggersee lake. The historic old town of Burkheim and the lake are just a few minutes' walk away. As one of the most beautiful spots in the Kaiserstuhl region, Vogtsburg-Burkheim has plenty to offer. This charming wine-growing village provides guests with diverse opportunities for hiking, cycling, and exploring the unique flora and fauna of the Kaiserstuhl natural landscape.
Caravans are also warmly welcome at our pitches, provided they are self-sufficient and do not require external infrastructure. Please note that electricity and sanitary facilities are not available at our municipal pitches. If these requirements are not met, overnight stays in caravans are not permitted.
According to the local tourist tax regulations of Vogtsburg i.K., all non-residents staying in the municipality are required to register and pay a tourist tax. The tax of €2.00 per person (ages 15+) or €1.00 for children is paid directly during the booking process. Upon payment, you will receive the KONUS Guest Card, which offers numerous discounts and allows you to use buses and trains throughout the region free of charge. You can collect your guest card at the Vogtsburg i.K. Citizen and Guest Information Center.
The Citizen and Guest Information Center is currently open as follows:
April - October
Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Saturday: 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM

Notes on the facilities
Two charging stations for electric cars are located at the town hall in Vogtsburg-Oberrotweil (Bahnhofstraße 20). In front of the Tourist Information Center, you will also find three free charging stations (with 2 sockets each) for e-bikes or small electronic devices (e.g., mobile phones). These charging stations can be used for a maximum of 12 hours; please remember to bring your own charger. Free public Wi-Fi is available at the town hall in Vogtsburg-Burkheim, Mittelstadt 7, where public restrooms are also located.
The Vogtsburg waste disposal and fresh water station is located right next to the Oberrotweil swimming pool and is available for use for a small fee.

You can cancel up to the latest check-in time on the arrival day. The refund includes the booking amount minus 1.5x the displayed Nomady fee. The cutoff is the latest check-in time set for this spot — not the end of the calendar day. Cancellations apply to the entire booking including extra products. Partial cancellations are not possible. In Vogtsburg-Oberrotweil, you'll find a large EDEKA supermarket and a bakery with a café. Numerous restaurants, ranging from rustic 'Straußwirtschaften' (seasonal wine taverns) to Michelin-starred establishments, are dotted throughout Vogtsburg i.K. Local farm shops are located in V.-Achkarren, V.-Bischoffingen, and V.-Burkheim. A charming little cheese shop can be discovered in Vogtsburg-Bickensohl (Neunlindenstraße 25). Regional and seasonal fruits and vegetables are available at various stalls throughout Vogtsburg i.K. and at Obsthof Neumühle. More delightful cafés await in the historic Burkheim village, which also hosts the Burkheimer Kräuterhof, offering countless spices and much more. A vast selection of sparkling wines, wines, and non-alcoholic specialties can be found at our approximately 30 wineries and winegrowers' cooperatives. Welcome to Vogtsburg im Kaiserstuhl, a paradise for wine lovers and gourmets!
This pitch is nestled at the edge of the forest in Burkheim. The beautiful Burkheim quarry pond is just a few minutes' walk away.

Night Watchman Tour - Saturdays at 10:00 PM
Experience and enjoy a touch of poetry from a bygone era. Tours run from Easter Sunday until the end of October. Meeting point is at the historic "Torhäusle". No registration required. €5 per person, children under 16 are free.

Very quiet surroundings, a restful and quiet night. Good ground, so you don't get much dirt on your shoes.
Close to nature and a nice swimming lake nearby, lovely little town. Slept well!
Very quiet and peaceful all night, and a great view. There are benches available to enjoy the scenery. The only downside was that dining options were limited; more variety would have been nice. However, we would love to come back for a night!
Simple gravel parking lot with a portable toilet, about 400m to the swimming lake.
Very quiet location and no other guests. But absolutely overpriced (€5/motorhome + almost €4/person) for a lit gravel parking lot with no other infrastructure whatsoever (no water, no toilet, no wastewater, no trash can) and a direct view of a mesh construction fence and excavated earth.
