Closure of the Rasa–Verdasio Cable Car

Please note that the Rasa–Verdasio cable car is closed from January until the end of summer 2026 due to complete renovation works. It is not possible to use the public cable car during this period.
However, we continue to guarantee luggage transport and can also arrange rides for our guests via our private cable car directly to our farm upon request. Arrival and departure trips are free of charge. Each additional ride will be charged at CHF 20.

Arrival by Car
If you arrive by car, you can load your luggage into our private cable car in Sassalto. We will transport your luggage directly to your accommodation.

Arrival by Train
If you arrive by train, we can pick you up in Corcapolo or Verdasio together with your luggage.

Arrival on Foot
For guests arriving on foot from Bordei, a hiking trail of approx. 3 km leads via Rasa to Corte (about 1½ hours' walk).
Corte di Sotto can also be reached on foot from Corcapolo (about 1½ hours' walk).
Casa Capretta is located above our farm and can be reached via a steep footpath in about 5 minutes from our private cable car.

A typical Ticinese rustico perched at 1,000 metres above sea level with breathtaking views over the Centovalli mountains, just a stone's throw from the alpine village of Rasa.
Enjoy pure nature, hiking, relaxation, wellness, and an authentic experience with limited electricity and hot water.
You will find 2 rustic cabins sleeping up to 10 guests, a bathroom, sauna, a converted cheese cauldron (hot tub) for a warm outdoor bath, and a rustic kitchen with gas and wood stoves, a fridge, and a fireplace. Wonderful hiking trails start right from your doorstep, and Rasa is only 1 km away.

Arriving by Car
If you arrive by car, you can load your luggage into our private cable car in Sassalto (between Corcapolo and Verdasio, on the left-hand side – a red cable car, about 1 km downhill from Verdasio train station). We will transport your luggage directly to your accommodation.

Arriving by Train
If you arrive by train, we can pick you up in Corcapolo or Verdasio and take you and your luggage to Corte using our private cable car. Your luggage will be delivered directly to your accommodation.

Arriving on Foot from Bordei or Corcapolo
For guests walking from Bordei, an approximate 3 km hiking trail leads to Monti (about a 1-hour walk).
From Corcapolo, it is also possible to reach Corte di Sotto on foot (about 1.5 hours of walking).
From Corte di Sotto, it takes about 45 minutes on foot to reach the holiday cabins in Monti.

Tipico rustico ticinese

Yurta Volpina and Yurta Cinghialotto are nestled in our farm’s orchard, offering a unique sense of space, breathtaking views of the Ticino sky, and close proximity to our animals amidst the mountains and valleys.
Set in the heart of nature at 750 meters above sea level on a working farm, this is the perfect getaway for families, couples, and nature lovers.
Right next to the yurts, you'll find a barbecue area and multiple seating options.
Shared bathrooms and kitchens are conveniently located nearby on our farm.
Arrival via Rasa, with luggage transport provided by our private cable car from Sassalto.

Arriving on foot
