Super relaxing weekend in a great setting! The contact was very nice, thank you for everything.

There were two of us, father and son + dog, staying at Alex's Pauline hut. The location, setting, and peace and quiet were simply great. The hut is cool and cozy, and the surrounding area on the Rothaarsteig is beautiful. The site has everything you need without any fuss or frills.

5 stars – Pure relaxation in beautiful nature! We were looking for a spontaneous little getaway and stumbled upon this fantastic campsite by chance. Since we have 2 dogs, we were mainly looking for something with a small cabin, and we found the perfect spot with Alexander… Great little cabin with a terrace, furniture, and everything you need… A true paradise for our four-legged friends and us… We received an extremely warm welcome…😉 The campsite features an outdoor dishwashing area, numerous hammocks, fire pits, etc… Camping Sohl am Rothaarsteig is a real insider tip for anyone seeking peace, nature, and heartfelt hospitality. The site is beautifully located – surrounded by greenery, directly on the Rothaarsteig trail – perfect for hikers and nature lovers. The sanitary facilities are very clean and modern. The friendly atmosphere on the site deserves special mention – you immediately feel welcome. The surrounding area also has a lot to offer: gorgeous hiking trails, lovely excursion destinations, and absolute tranquility. If you want to unwind and recharge your batteries, this is the place to be. We’d love to come back 😉 Thank you

"Super cool host who shares his fairytale-like garden with others😀 We were allowed to pick apples and plums in the garden. We had cabins, hammocks, a fire pit/grill, and even a pool at our full disposal. In addition, you could freely help yourself to beer, coffee, and other things. The bathroom/sanitary area was set up great, and there was free Wi-Fi. I can only warmly recommend this place to everyone."
