Camp Zafferano

It is a very nice place – idyllic and small. The sanitary facilities were always clean. You have plenty of space. There is also fresh water everywhere. Without a car, you have to walk quite far to reach shops, amenities, etc. But with a bike, it is no problem at all. Albenga is super beautiful! For dog owners, it is generally good, but there is really nowhere to properly walk the dog (really none at all). Without a bike (+ dog trailer) or car, you can hardly experience anything here. But if you have that, everything is easily accessible. Dog beaches and often public beaches are good (even with a dog). Compared to other campsites or agri-campings, it is not overcrowded here, there are animals (which also make noise), and the atmosphere is cozy and relaxed.

Wonderful, very spacious site. Very idyllic with the free-roaming ducks, chickens, and geese. We felt very comfortable. Very friendly host. Clean sanitary facilities. The pizza is highly recommended. Downside: the location if you have a dog and don't have a bicycle/trailer. It's simply too far to walk to the sea, and there are no walking paths in the surrounding area. Also, the (tiger) mosquitoes kept us quite busy (which is normal in Albenga, though).

A wonderful campsite with great olive trees and a very friendly owner. You can reach the old town in 10 minutes by bike. I would definitely book this place again anytime.

A relaxed, quiet spot on the bustling coast. Ideal for cycling to the sea and the old town. We had a lot of fun with the feathered friends. Right in the middle of it all.
