Wow, what a starry sky, the view is unique, one of the best spots I've ever had. Access via Cari is easier, wider. Wonderful restaurant. That was definitely not my last time up there.

Beautiful place

Very nice pitch with an incredibly beautiful view. When driving there, you should note that the vehicle really is not longer than 6 meters, as stated in the description. The road is very narrow with many hairpin turns. It was very quiet, and the on-site sanitary facilities (shower and toilet) were clean. The host, Jamila, was very nice and showed us around right away. There are free-roaming chickens, a cat, and little bunnies in an enclosure. We also had a very delicious meal at the restaurant. They serve regional Ticino dishes. We would definitely visit this place again anytime.

The pitch itself was super idyllic with a great view; the toilet and shower area is easily accessible and clean. The road to the pitch is quite adventurous, but precisely because of that, very interesting and unique. Jamila was very nice and accommodating; we were also able to eat at her restaurant in the evening. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi only works when the restaurant is open (apparently the router is switched off when no one is in the restaurant), and even then only in the restaurant and not at the pitch. Likewise, the electricity provided is not usable for a camper.

You rarely find a spot with such a magnificent view! And on top of that, it has a well-kept toilet, shower, and good food. The site is located high up in the mountains next to an excursion restaurant popular with locals. The drive up from the valley follows single-lane serpentines that might seem adventurous to city dwellers, and the last 300m to the pitch are over a gravel track. I'd say: not suitable for novice drivers or large motorhomes ;-) The pitch is on a goat farm, and there are chickens, donkeys, and cats running around. Recommendation: your dog shouldn't have a hunting instinct (!) We were here from Sunday to Tuesday, and the restaurant is (unfortunately) closed on those days. So, we couldn't try the food, which has an excellent reputation. However, this also meant we could enjoy the peace and quiet up here. Something else to know: you might not be alone on the site, as the owner also rents to other campers on his property. You also share the sanitary facilities with other house guests or campers.
